Wyvern Primary School

We are very proud to have achieved the Silver Rights Respecting School Award, which recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school’s planning, policies, practice and ethos. As a rights-respecting school we not only teach about children’s rights but also model rights and respect in all our relationships.

We are a member of the leicester Healthy Schools Network nd have a Silver Award, particularly recognising our work towards mental health and wellbeing.

Wyvern School staff and pupils are proud to have achieved the Artsmark Silver Award in recognition of our art, music, drama and dance provision.

We are proud to have been awarded a Green Flag award for our Eco-Schools work, which has included work to improve our environment, save energy, encourage walking or cycling to school, and reducing litter. 

We are a Route to Resilience accredited school. This award looks at developing the emotional wellbeing and resilience of children and young people.

We work hard to support the wellbeing of our pupils and staff and have achieved the Carnegie Mentally Healthy Schools Award.

Wyvern are proud to have been awarded a Silver School games award for sport.

Our school has been recognised for our commitment to provision which meets the needs of pupils with ADHD.
